I have this pet theory that 90% of social phenomena can be explained by population density. If this lockdown goes on for another 2 weeks maybe i write a PhD or something.
Voting patterns for starters. People always use race gender etc but honestly population density works better as a predictor. Attitudes towards immigration. Social mobility, formality, attitudes towards education (think East Cost old money vs SV/Seattle tech).
I guess to be more accurate it's population density over time (East Coast: always super high, West Coast: recently highish, Midwest: always low).
