If I helped cofound a company id never buy brand new equipment for my staff. Computers are already fast enough, work with what you have smh.

I found it’s often worth the extra $1k for a brand new computer. Less risk than used and helps with morale/retention.
Depending on the salary of the person using it, it also makes financial sense. Every time my computer struggles to load something, I'm on Twitter. I'm not the only one.
