Apple then Amazon then Google in tech (in that order)

I think Amazon's big innovative moves are also rans (alexa), marketing stunts (drones), or awesome but incremental (vertical integration of supply chain), whereas Google's are way bigger, i.e. waymo, quantum computing, machine learning. No? What's Apple done besides the iphone?

What are examples? Alexa is an also ran. The drones are a marketing stunt. Kindle failed. Their vertical integration is cool but not a moonshot.

Lockheed Martin’s skunkworks basically invented the idea as far as I know. Google X (Waymo, Verily, energy projects, etc.) Space X is explicitly a moonshot. Apple II, Mac, iPhone, reportedly building a car. Bell Labs, Xerox PARC, Boeing Phantom Works Amazon’s logistics and AWS.
