I grew up in a family of lawyers & I think many lawyers are sort of political jockeys that navigate the beast (the U.S. legal system). Grassroots changes in our culture - which I hope this crisis spurs - less apathy (quickly turns into sociopathy), more patriotism is needed.
IMHO, America's legal system is both a major drain on innovation and the economy's ability to deliver results for American citizens AND our greatest asset.

Me too. For that to happen you need: An event (got it) A special president (not this guy) and A prolonged concerted effort. Doesn't look good.
