@paulg why can’t / hasn’t slack replaced email? What can replace email?

Pretty obvious answer to that question. Not everyone has slack. So whether it's external communication or internal communication that involves someone externally, e-mail wins.

Interoperability with Microsoft Teams and other team collaboration apps will solve this. The technical architecture will be API federation. The API's need more functionality to make the user experience seamless - it will happen.
