1.2K to people who made less than 99k in 2018 isn’t UBI. Not really a fan, but also don’t think it’s remotely being tested.

Agree and agree. However, in testing, we ought to be careful not to administer too much heroin to the test patients. (I worry that UBI is addictive among many other problems)

Well, to your point, you can never test UBI without doing it right? "Hey we're going to try this in the city of Detroit..." Well, that's not universal!

That almost would be. The fundamental issue is whether you’re means testing, which adds a ton of administration. UBI allegedly works because of the removal of that IRS requirement.
