@Molson_Hart What're your thoughts on finding suppliers yourself (through 关系 , Ali, etc) vs. working through a sourcing agency? Is the expediency is worth the distance in the supplier relationship?

Anything can work. The important thing is to bring the order volume. Ultimately, if you want to have an excellent product you need to get your ass to the factory floor though.

Definitely agree on getting there in person. Beyond just verifying ops, there's huge value in building relationships so you're not just a name in your supplier's WeChat contact list.
As you can probably tell, social distancing has meant lots of time for new product dev
