Farmers get no sick pay, no paid holidays, no special checkout lanes, no tributes from politicians. Their job is the most important of all but they get no recognition, nor do they ever seek it. They are too busy replacing those empty shelves and ensuring you can feed your family.
Big farms in the United States get tributes from politicians, both in words and in $$$! Not an easy job, but not bad to be a big farmer most years in the USA.
