A lot of businesses, large and small, are going to fail because of this bug. The failures will be complex and different by industry and situation. Some will be demand-driven, others will be determined by government. Compensation should be determined through the courts.

This is my first rodeo. I graduated from college in June 2009 and worked a minimum wage job until I was fired...and here we are!

At least you are honest and have the perspective as a "lowly" retail worker. Many pundits don't have the same experience of trying to get by on a retail-worker shift hourly compensation and have to go through a dislocation or market correction with minimal savings or backup.

Thanks, try to be. The job I got fired from wasn't retail but I worked at Urban Outfitters later and that was (especially for me) not an easy job and it paid terribly. That said, there are definitely people out there who are more sympathetic than I am.
