This is why a long shutdown won't happen in the USA without a credible plan with a timeline. People won't lose everything they own when the policy could be older people only isolate.
I think your idea is really clever but we need to know about the virus first (maybe it doesn’t kill young but damages them permanently)

We could get data pretty fast. Study the outcomes of everyone under 40, 50 in Iceland and Korea. Seems if there was long term damage it'd have been reported more. Iceland made it sound totally innocuous in most people over a big sample.
