do you think it's possible (politically/economically) to put a moratorium on interest and rent for a few months?
Appreciate the kind words, but if I'm being honest with you: I don't know. I worry that if you put a moratorium on interest and rent you'll then need to bail out banks and landlords next. I'm not sure if our government has the capability to do all these surgical bailouts.

Further, it's healthy to have some businesses die from time to time. It's unrealistic to go into business expecting to be saved irrespective of your cash savings and whether or not you have insurance.

Completely agreed on the letting businesses die. All the talk about bailing out businesses is frustrating. But I think, even with pausing interest/rent, you'd still have bad businesses die. That's OK.
