Just FYI this is probably propaganda and these people are actors

It's definitely propaganda but I don't see why they'd have to use actors if they're actually closing down the temporary hospital (an easily verifiable fact).

I can think of a reason. Those people would all have marks in their eyes from wearing goggles and will be absolutely and totally exhausted.

as a son of a physician, I found your comment extremely unkind. They are clearly not inside a hospital. They don’t need to wear goggles and N95 masks. You don’t know if they just finished a shift or just have a get together outside work. You see what your heart tells you to see.

As someone who has been following this crisis quite closely, as someone 会说中文, and as someone who has lived 2 years in China, let me tell you this: I have TREMENDOUS respect for the medical workers of Hubei province, but that video is bullshit.

Well as someone who live in China for his whole life, I can tell you that you just don’t know if the medical workers in the video are fake ones. You just don’t know. It’s just a video clip from Douyin or Kuaishou. It’s a video from people like you and me.

At the bottom of the video it says "Source Xinhua News" - That's not a Douyin Kuaishou video. Obviously I don't know, but I've been around the block enough times in China to know 放屁 and that is 放屁.

I understand that some white people just attack China or whatever and do so unfairly. I get it. But I know my shit. China has done a heroic job fighting COVID19 but it doesn't change the fact that they're lying about the numbers and they engage in bullshit.

Now, when I say that, that doesn't mean the USA is not lying or not incompetent. But the way the US is doesn't change the way China is. They're independent.

Alright. You draw a conclusion based on your 2 year time in China and I draw mine based on my 20+ years as a Chinese and know physicians who went to Wuhua. Also, Caixin is actually a pretty good media source for business news.

Your 20 years > my 2 years, for sure. Caixin is great. It was the article with a Wuhan doctor in caixin that helped me understand the gravity of this problem on Feb 5.
