Really? Is that because public equities, by virtue of being larger and public, had much more access to credit during the period of distress?

Ranked in order of usefulness does deal-flow for private deals look like this? Brokers > Banks > Chamber of Commerce = Trade Associations = Twitter I've put up some alerts on BizBuySell (on the off-chance that you haven't done that, do so!), but need to plan for this better.
