People have a strong incentive to believe this is no big deal. This *always* happens in the market, and it's why stocks never drop straight down. People only gradually give up.
I’m scared of how our govt will react financially. The medical response has been terrible. Financial response likely to be similar. Who in the administration would be trusted to run point on this?

Mostly it seems like companies freely shutting things down, rather than a government response. This might be a catalyst for people to vote reducing the size of government?
