Hard to say. Looks likely that the non-China response to this virus will be much more chaotic. If China has excess capacity, they will sell us masks.
I don't think USA can ramp up. It will take too long. We should try, but best bet would be to just buy as much as we can from other countries for the time being.
How many masks will be needed globally 8 weeks from now? 3-4 billion each day? Can global manufacturing ramp up that quicky? And in absence of sufficient masks, doesn't the only solution seems like more social distancing and/or lock downs?
Dunno. Africa and parts of South America won't get masks so your number is too high. China knows how to ramp shit up my man.
