18 months. Even if everyone of the teams working on them got together, still be a year at least.
Where's that number come from? I read about it how vaccines are made? 1. figure out how to defang the virus 2. get gov't approval 3. ramp up production Seems like 2 would be unusually fast this time, no?

Honestly I've read so many virology reports in the last two weeks that I not sure. I do remember that there was an article talking about the changes after battling Ebola, the world is better equipped to make a vaccine faster. I'll have to see if I can find it.

There’s was an interview early on with FOX news and presuming a CDC guy. He said Nov with a bunch of pulled strings to speed it up.
