Globalization has been a huge force of disinflation for developed countries for decades. Conversely, the post-pandemic de-globalization will be aggravate the secular inflationary pressure that several smart contrarians (Ken Griffin, Ray Dalio, etc.) have already voiced.

Maybe. There are tons of people in the United States who, when manufacturing left, for left behind. I’d like to believe that they’ll be réemployéd. Also, even though I’d like to see it, I don’t think we’ll see reindustrializarion in USA post-pandemic outside of healthcare.

Every country ought to have some pharmaceutical, mask, med supply industry, but I think I’m okay with 95% of the worlds staplers being made in China.
