No one in my wife's (Mexican and Colombian friends) world started to care about the virus until this week, so traffic effect on locals would be minimal. Not sure when Americans started canceling their trips to Mexico though.

There's a few cases in Mexico and Brazil but it hasn't taken off in a big way yet. If warm weather keeps it down, that will keep most places safe, though a few big cities like Bogota are a lot chillier than folks realize. Seems Argentina is most at risk once winter starts here.

I’m fairly confident that the warm weather trope is bullshit. Warm countries either don’t test or are super competent (Singapore)
