My marital partner was morally corrupt and her betrayal and bad faith was quite a bit more than just boring old infidelity. But, and this is key, I was more or less boundaryless the *whole* time. That is neither excuse nor forgiveness. Just a warning for younger men.

Good question. Idk. Maybe like “omg I totally disagree with what you just said or are doing but can we talk about this,” vs just giving in and saying “ok, u can abandon me and kids for 12 years for your ambition and I’ll cover stuff forever...”
