Also, even if China’s claim about unfair bias in Western media is true (sometimes, but a lot less than they say), then what about Chinese media out of the US? Surely it’s no paragon of objectivity, so then why not reciprocate?

Strong disagree w/ your disagree. We should take the high road, not discard our values. I wouldn't prevent the Saudis from funding a mosque in America just because they'd forbid the building of a Christian church in Saudi Arabia. Same principle. This IS what we're defending.

Agree with Kaiser. I do however disagree when it comes to free trade. If China's trade is not free, neither should ours be.
