Was a big waste of time. I could've taken a step back and acknowledged that even if I had done, I'd never be good enough to justify spending more time on it. Was never gonna be Kasparov - Got in a car accident in college in a snow storm. Was with friends. Very scary. Could've

taken a step back and seen that driving fast in those conditions made no sense. - Not going to any classes in college. I was totally unmotivated and was just stuck in a routine. If had taken a step back I would've just dropped out. The diploma didn't do much for me.

Ah, that's a good thought, but my problem (these days) isn't going too fast. It's getting distracted. I love to look at things on the side of the road to my and others' peril. Also you never know when a drunk driver is going to plow through the intersection into you.

Friend mine wanted to get a motorcycle. His dad was an actuary and he showed him the stats. Only a matter of time before you are kaput. And you wrote "again" so you are one of the lucky ones!
