Two very worrying datapoints on #COVID19
First, check out Thailand's "viral pneumonia" cases under investigation. If Thailand has this many cases, then we can throw out the reduced sunlight/heat transmission hypothesis.

Second point: There are multiple anecdotes of young people dying of the coronavirus in Iran. That either means that: 1. China's lying about the data. IMHO, they would to get people to go back to work. 2. Iran has way more deaths than they're saying. Both could be true.
I'm listening to a Department of Health Services state of Washington press conference. I find it extremely worrying that US health officials are just trusting the Chinese data. They should not be.
I think those numbers are wrong according to the government data, but the trend is right. The important data point in this chart is the "under treatment" diagnosis that is displayed in the table
But if any Thai spreads any messages that are not approved by the government, they are arrested for spreading false rumors
I think i made this point before but the reduced sunlight hypothesis should really be moderate climate hypothesis. Having lived in various asian tropical countries i dont see why would anyone expect to stop flu if you blast AC on people and they keep coughing. 1/2
The real test is when spring starts in Europe. If it keeps spreading the same the hypothesis is wrong. If it stops you know its not due to govt competency over there.
