Assuming I’m high performing... I used to do this religiously. Then i realized i work better on 8+ hrs of sleep so no more early days for me.

Gotta chalk a lot of it up to reporting bias. There's a lot more social reward in broadcasting your 5am run than a leisurely 7:30 wakeup. Personally I saw enough sunrises as a rower in college to be over early workouts. Hopefully that doesn't torpedo my future in ecommerce
