Massive curved monitors are awesome. I've been using them for years and will never go back.

If you ever watch videos or play video games, it's obviously a much better experience. In terms of productivity tasks, it's a lot simpler to resize windows as needed instead of being constrained to arbitrary chunks. Also, it doesn't cost much more.
