I have a 32" ultra-wide curved. It's amazing. Can have 3 windows open. Great for excel. I recommend external keyboard + magic trackpad. Also, a small luxury is to have a dedicated laptop charger at your desk. I love to be able to plug only the monitor+charger every morning

External keyboard at comfortable level (perhaps on tray under desk) with external mouse next to it. Typing on your laptop keyboard with your arm making a V is not ergonomic.
