Isn't the consensus the tech is great? I read most of the criticism to be 1) they improperly market the functional limits of their tech and 2) they can't build hardware, computer or mechanical -- a concern for a car company.
I don't think so actually. There are a lot of people on Twitter at least who say that the self-driving kills people. AFAICT they are bad at building cars. That's the main problem more than the hardware design (which also has its issues).
That's what I mean - they dont have a self driving car. They have very good driver assistance tech. People misuse it due to Teslas irresponsible marketing of that tech.
