Just think about the other side and what benefits them. If you can do that, you've won 51% of the battle. The other 49% is delivering that.

Seriously. Unless you figure this out intuitively through social life or extra curriculars it's easy to go through the entire US education pipeline without even realizing this is something you should be thinking about.

Some parents teach their kids this. I think I first learned it from a business mentor and then Warren Buffett. So many extremely valuable skills that are missing from the US education pipeline...where do I even begin...

Wasn't until I quit doing sales that I realized how much of an advantage sales skills r. Worked with many non-sales people, noticed group dynamics / meetings occur in slow-motion. EQ is underrated. I suppose it's how technical people feel when explaining something technical 2 me

IQ is very overrated. EQ is very underrated. Takes not IQ, but life experience to realize that.

Storytelling is definitely important in terms of communicating information. Storytelling is basically a logical sequence that appeals to peoples' emotions and relies on things they already understand. I don't think it's necessary. Incentives, however, are absolutely so.
