How do you view Buc-ee's in all seriousness? I think it's pretty amazing. It seems like a go-big-or-go-home bet. Like you couldn't build a small buc-ee's. They went all out: the ridiculous beaver, 30 gas station pumps, huge store with everything in it. Great untold story.
Its success feels intertwined Texas patriotism, as in patriotism for Texas the state, not American patriotism in Texas.
