I don't think there is a better place to start a company than in a livable university town. - Steady stream of smart cheap workers who demand a job, not needing to be lured away from another company - Uni towns tend to be nice places to live - Can lean on the uni for expertise

Obviously there are certain busienss models that need to be located in industry towns, like finance in NYC, or film in Hollywood, but if given the option, university towns are the way to go.
