It’s really hard to fly at an affordable price internationally from San Antonio. Moving here from another city where this was much easier, this turns me off about SA. I will drive to Austin to fly for a flight that $500 cheaper per person, yup $500 on many I look at.
Won't happen for a while if it ever does, but I bet building a high speed train from San Antonio into Austin/Austin airport would make this a lot easier.

That would probably be a multi year project if approved and I’m not sure San Antonio is in the headspace to make that happen. But would be great if they could make it happen. I might not still be living here when it does though
