When I was younger I was much more cautious to share my ideas for fear of being copied. I’ve come to think that you benefit more from feedback than you are harmed by idea theft. This may change at levels of fame and audience however.

Right on. Except in a few industries (Cybersecurity, trading) there are few upsides to keeping business ideas a secret. In the 7 Powers (of how businesses get big), none are secrets. I’d bet that even for cyber/trading its worth doing amongst a group of trusted respected friends A lot of why this is true is that most people don’t act, but they talk haha
