Just anecdotal stuff where we talk about something obscure without ever typing it and then boom we see ads for it on our phones.

They don’t need to understand and then serve a reasonable response. They just need to identify a noun. “Siri, what channel is Nbatv on direct tv?” And “Siri, does direct tv work on cloudy days” are hard to answer but not hard for Algos to determine what ads to show.
