If the apocalypse comes, I'll probably be that guy on my couch totally unprepared. As a GenX'er, my whole life has been "the world is ending" news stories. I (like many) am now numb. Examples: Killer Bees Ozone Hole Y2K Ice Ages SARS AIDS Bird Flu Ebola etc

Lot of people got sick on this one, but it had a low mortality rate so it didn't matter much. We'll see what happens with this one.
