The Russian edition of Classic Computer Science Problems in Python received the worst review of any book I've written. Luckily, it's in Russian.
Different cultures review very differently we've noticed from selling on Amazon!

Thanks, yeah my guess is they also respond to different teaching styles. The Japanese edition is also not tearing up the charts. I'm thinking perhaps some of what worked in the English edition got lost in translation, or the way I think is not the way those cultures think.

Very possible. Do you have the review rate? Python may just be less popular in Russia and Japan (land of Mats' Ruby?)
