@davidgshort have you tested how day drinking affects your sleep? For example if you get drunk at like 1 pm, does it affect your sleep as much as being drunk at 10 pm?
(And of course not saying that you routinely get drunk at 1 pm or even 10 pm. Those were just examples!)

It’s way different. I have an Oura Ring that is pretty accurate for multiple health metrics related to sleep. Basically, if your body is metabolizing alcohol while asleep, your HR is super high, not allowing your body to recover

Interesting re: heart rate. I wonder why? Maybe the liver is important in sleep as well? How much does day drinking deteriorate your sleep vs night drinking and no drinking?
