Interesting that there are no reported deaths from coronavirus outside of China for 100 cases so far. Dumb crude calculation: Odds of no deaths assuming a 2% fatality rate for 100 cases is 13%. If we go a week without anyone outside of China dying, the panic will subside.

We get a lot of basic things right and our medical system isn't close to being overwhelmed. Our people are also generally healthier (lower exposure to pollutants, parasites, etc.).

Does China not get basic stuff right? If it comes over here like it has in China, we will get overwhelmed as well. And I don't see us building a hospital in 10 days lol. Lower rates of pollutants and parasites (maybe), but higher rates of obesity & diabetes.
