This is where we used to have prime:pic.twitter.com/Me6GzulqOs
This is the new FedEx setting:pic.twitter.com/8k0vqubTxs
And this is UPS. It looks like a roughly 75% reduction.pic.twitter.com/MYgPgjtU3O
Are you still using SFP? We are, and we noticed something infuriating since FedEx Ground came back on Jan 14th. Amazon has clearly lost faith in Ground, and they've developed a new map to determine when sellers have to upgrade to FedEx 2Day 1/
But they aren't using that map to determine which customers get to place Prime orders! Like you, we're using AMZ's Automated Shipping Settings. We have FedEx Ground and Home checked, but not FedEx 2Day. But we keep seeing "Surprise, you have to use 2Day and it's $28!" 2/2
We had the exact same problem. We got 6 shipments in late December where Amazon was forcing us to use FedEx 2-day when we had told them "only award prime to ground orders". We shipped all 6 outside of the buy-shipping-api because as you can see below, we were losing BIG MONEY.pic.twitter.com/V1ax5QeAxF
5 out of 6 arrived in time using FedEx ground, but we got suspended for doing this. I don't want to use SFP, but the problem we are having now is that we cannot get same day or 1 day handling for non-SFP FBM orders.pic.twitter.com/ZG3y36pjSW
That's rough. Sorry to hear it. I just want Amazon to use the same logic and the same map when they are... a) determining which customer gets to place the order as prime and b) determining which shipping options we have to choose
Wasn't that supposed to be whole point of Automated Shipping Rules?
Yes, obviously it was. Amazon should do what it says it is going to do. I am befuddled and angered by Amazon's irresponsible handling of this situation. I don't believe the SFP team is well managed.
We're still banned
but it looks like they're finally fixing the problem you describedpic.twitter.com/sf8ltnEswZ
Finally! Holy smokes. We finally just turned off Prime at the account level yesterday. I am kinda worried about turning it back on. I hope it's genuinely fixed.
