highly doubt their verification is of their profit in that range. It takes a shit ton of revenue to even be at the bottom of his profit range in an FBA business. At least $10MM/yr

It's not of profit. You're right. Sales are verified. Doesn't matter though, I know what average profit margins are and roughly what peoples' sales are. Depends on the FBA business. Wholesale is lower margin than own-brand. The cos I know are own-brand.

There may be some diamonds in the rough, but in general, yes, I agree that FBA businesses are not good investments. I'd add that they have weak returns from "roll-ups". 1. True for wholesale FBA 2. Not true for branded e-commerce, though I admit that the situation is extremely tough these days, being squeezed by unfair competition on one side and super-powerful Amazon on the other.
