Idk that most Americans appreciate just how big a deal it is that the CNY holiday has been extended until Feb 9. They don't get that 2/9 doesn't mark a return to full production— it's the day producers' staff will start to fight crowds and quarantines to get back to work.
You are totally and completely correct. Factories with many Hubei workers will not be able to restart production for a very long time.
