I remember once reading an article about how doctors were often excellent targets for shady financial schemes because their skill in one area made them think they were skillful in all. I see the same qualities in venture capitalists and tech engineer founder types.
You cannot found a company without having many many skills, so the founder comment does not make sense.

You absolutely CAN found a company with far too few skills. It'll fail of course, but that doesn't mean you can't found it. And that's *exactly* what we see happening all the damn time.
