Chinese had been settling in Taiwan way before Dutch build a military installation to subjugate the locals and Chinese. Ming general defeated the Dutch.

Absolutely not true - the Dutch and the portugeee only built a couple of fortress near the port. They were running out of food and water so that they either asked for backup from the troops in other countries or worked with the taiwanese locals
