Totally reasonable to have parking requirements for restaurants - parking spaces are a commons for area businesses. Imagine an area with two restaurants but only enough street parking for patrons of one - classic overgrazed commons example.

Why do we need a law for this? Can’t restaurant owners judge this for themselves?
