What's your interpretation? I might have it wrong but I think of it like this. Which group gets more: 1. A single mom with 3 kids living together. A man living alone. 2. A married couple with 3 kids living together.

What I'm suggesting is you always reward the married/complete family at least as much two adults living alone. What a horrible thing to incentivize.

Yup, I agree totally. I guess I didn't say that directly in my tweet response, but that's what I was getting at. There are situation where you want to: 1. Earn money under the table 2. Reject raises 3. Have more kids for more money 4. Avoid marriage as it disqualifies you

I know someone who is adopting foster children to get more money from the government. That is their stated goal. It blew my mind.
