      I think of Disney and Starbucks as emerging markets plays. Emerging markets are tough because the accounting standards and regulation are even worse than the USA.

      I like $DIS as the single best emerging markets play. As long as they give a piece of the pie to corrupt governments seems they can play their movies everywhere. They also have incredibly good marketing out in Thailand. Long term, I expect a Disney Land in most countries.

      I think that’s clever. Minor point but India and China may restrict entry (Disney is American brainwashing) as they’re bigger.

      Disney already has 3 parks across Hong Kong and Shanghai, but the government could certainly change course. Of the top 10 grossing movies in China in 2019, only 1 was Disney, but they do get a lot of that revenue with limited cost, may become difficult to give up

      Where's the 3rd park in greater China? I get the sense that if anyone could pull off kicking Disney out, it'd be China.

      1 park in HK, 2 in Shanghai. Disney World in Florida is 4 parks. I’d actually think India would be just as likely given Bollywood’s strength, but apparently Disney is the largest TV broadcaster in India after the Fox acquisition
