Pretty sure logic here is young children come with parents, see and want toys, parents can’t say no. My 4 year old ends up walking around with one of these for an hour then we put it back before checking out. Also, these WF displays seem to be perpetually discounted.
Yup, grocery is the last traditional brick and mortar toy channel. And you are right, it could all be bullshit from the good people at Amazon. The prices, even after discount for some items were extraordinary.
