How does the public bus solution fit into the reality that CDMX mobility is awful by any measure. They just need more buses?

Yeah, so clearly buses by themselves aren't the answer...

i’ve taken the metro lots there. it doesn’t cover that much of the city and especially the outskirts.

How'd you wind up in San Antonio? You've heard of Austin? I'm just kidding, and I've never been to San Antonio, but I can tell you that Dallas had an extremely weak startup scene and I imagine that SA is similar!?

Good question. I'm from here but also my current situation fits my nature. I'd rather be part of a community on the ascent and a big part of helping than just be another cog in the machine in SF/Austin/NYC/LA. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

If it wasn't SA, it'd be another mid-tier city on the upswing like KC, Columbus, Nashville, Calgary, etc.

Constraints in those places present really interesting problems also, I think.

I feel you on this. I like to zig when everyone else is zagging, but man...I couldn't do Dallas (I moved from NYC). It would've been fine if I had accepted a boring life in Plano or something, but it just felt like there was a better option.

With the internet, in theory, it shouldn't be necessary to be in SF (depending on what you're trying to do), but I don't really know or not. I met some "angels" in DFW and man, I was verrrrrry not impressed. Disclaimer: I don't fully "get" SF

I think it's about either-- 1- finding opportunity->city fit or 2- finding city->opportunity fit I've learned the hard way: don't try to do what works in SF/LA/etc in another city. Do what takes advantage of the place I'm in.

So much more fun when the city is the best place in the world to do something versus fighting against a city's gaps.
