Honest question: what’s the end game with impeachment for Dems? Republicans control Senate supermajority with no sign of defections. What is supposed to happen? I’m confused

Probably same as the Russia debacle. Media will obsess about it for 1-2 years and then when it (likely) amounts to nothing, it will be quickly forgotten in favor of something new to drive viewership and attention.
