I used my 老外 superpower and googled it. The Chinese cities with the best air are all like Sanya, Haikou, Shenzhen, etc. All by an ocean. There's no way Changchun has the best air in China's top 167 cities.

What I posted here was the latest updated report of 2019. Farmers used to burn straws around Changchun after harvest, which worsened the air quality of the city in autumn and winter. Burning staws and hay has been banned this year. And the air quality improved instantly.pic.twitter.com/N4elw2dcZc
