If you’re talented, people will find you. I couldn’t get a banking, consulting, or big tech job to save my life when I was young, but let me tell ya... ...I still can’t, but luckily many key decision makers are people.
I don’t fully understand what you’re saying, but I’m intrigued. For many opportunities, charisma, a je ne sais quoi, is necessary. I’m talented but no one finds me because I’m off putting. I’d like to think I’m an acquired taste, but I’m probably just always a little bitter.
