They have been pumping this stuff heavily for at least a decade. Whether or not it is true, it is effectively state religion in education.
If money is success, then my growth mindset has made me much more successful than many of my smarter peers.

There's a difference between self-improving hustle and the kind of pablum that is peddled in education as "growth mindset" Frankly, you're way out on the end of the bell curve, almost a different creature from a median person. Different rules apply.
